Antigonish Victorian Inn

Built by a wealthy merchant in the early 1900s the Victorian Inn has been the home of parliamentarians and Bishops. Now sympathetically restored, the Inn maintains the charm and character of the Victorian age yet with wireless Internet and cable, offers the convenience of today. Each of the 10 bedrooms and 2 apartments are individually decorated in subtle Victorian themes and there is a range of accommodation to suit the varying needs of our guests.

At the inn we are proud to use as many local products as possible and this includes our breakfast menu. Our guests are offered fresh fruit from the local farms when available, bread from the town bakery and preserves from a nearby supplier. We also offer a cooked breakfast that uses local eggs and local meats. Set in over 4 acres of parkland with towering maples and extensive lawns our gardens offer an ideal tranquil environment in which to relax after a day's work, traveling or seeing the many sites in this beautiful area.

Yet being just a minutes walk from the center of town with it's many restaurants and lively shopping opportunities, the Inns location manages to combine the tranquility of it's setting with the convenience of the town. The extensive grounds are ideal for small weddings and offer many opportunities for photographs. With accommodation and dining area that can cater for up to 25 people, the Inn is ideal for group events and has proved popular for meetings, family reunions and anniversary parties.
