Arisaig Provincial Park is perched along the shores of the Northumberland Strait and offers not only a beautiful view of the water but also a relaxing walk through carefully tended forest trails and along scenic beaches which are home to some of the oldest fossils to be found in Canada.
The park provides picnic and restroom facilities as well as ample parking for those making a day trip out of their adventure. Trails lead to the above pictured falls and down to the beach, whose rocky shoreline can provide kilometers of pleasant shoreline to walk along at low tide (or if you don't mind getting your feet wet at times) a nice stroll at high tide.
Visitors can also park outside the park gate and are welcome to walk in.
